    Popcult Helsinki, 25.-26.4.2015

The preparation for this convention started in January. Many, many dance practices and sewing sessions later, Popcult Helsinki finally came! Saturday was mostly spent preparing, dancing and photoshooting with our lovely ヒトデ☆アーミー! Our Mahou Live was a great success, and people were so kind and supportive throughout the con. Thank you so much, everyone! Especially my dear Hitodes, who made such an effort for this. We are the true magical girls!

On Sunday I had time to attend some programmes too. There was a lot more I would have wanted to see, but couldn't, which is very rare for a convention. I think Popcult was a great first con, even though of course there's always something you can do better. At some points I got a little bored, because things I'm used to spend time in, like karaoke were missing from the con. However performing, talking to supportive people and buying idol merch made my weekend really worth everything.

Plus I really want a neon sign like that for decoration now! It's from the place where we slept the night with boyfriend. Another funny element in the apartment was a bicycle hanging from the ceiling. How cool is that.

Tampere Kuplii was yes nice was. Well, I only was there for like six hours, maybe?

Seriously, what is blogging. I would love to love this but I have absolutely no inspiration. Might be I'll do something radical to my blog again when I have more time. Please, bear with me.

Feverish Rose

    Desucon Frostbite, 13.-15.2.2015

I had my bad moments at Desucon Frostbite, mainly because most of the time I was freezing, but it was still a very fine convention. The lighting and the mood were great, and Desucon's anime karaoke still manages to amaze me year after year. It's possibly one of the best things I've ever experienced. I'm not going to go into details on what I like and dislike about Desucon (there are a lot of dislikes too, sorry bros, it's cool but not even near to a "perfect con", what is that even?). I'll just give you a couple of pictures and a bunch of text.

What else should I say? DesuDance is the bestestest. And I should really learn how to dress warmly + not to complain about coldness when I don't. Below you can see my outfit from Saturday and very small but lovely purchases. In addition of those, I did buy some One Piece stuff for boyfriend. With his money, of course. He was very pleased.

I have no idea what my blog post names are supposed to mean, honestly, I just make them up like "I got fever after con and there are roses in the pictures, great."

Snow happenings

    Yukicon 2.0, 10.-11.1.2015

The second Yukicon was a bit lame as a convention, to be honest. Or maybe I was just too busy. Anyway, despite that, I had a fun time photoshooting with my friends, organizing the con party at Saturday & enjoying art! Art rules! Artist alleys rule! Above you can see my Risa-cosplay I remade for the con. I'm quite happy about it, but it's too bad there are not many pictures of it.

On Sunday I & Kaisla had a table at the artist alley. Even though I didn't sell much, other artist inspired me to become better! The con also inspired me in another way and started making a lecture about J-pop myself. (¬‿¬)✧ Below you can see the gorgeous print and other stuff I bought / got from the con. One of the highlights for me was talking to Dashiana, and since I had sent this to her I got a lovely Koneko-chan card for free! ;;  More Yukicon pictures can be found here or here!

Nine

    Tracon 9, 13.-14.9.2014

Okay, so after my quiet summer - which was kinda great, so I didn't have any time for blogging - I'm trying to start posting here again, with a fresh style and all that, blah blah.

Another Tracon (sixtht one for me) has passed, and this time it was special because of 「ヒトデ☆アーミー」's performances in both opening and closing ceremonies. (๑>ᴗ<๑) The feeling on the stage was really utterly amazing. 

The con was otherwise really fun too! ☆

"The lovely idols-quiz" was a fantastic piece of programme and I had a wonderful photoshoot with Petra and Ansku as well as was able to buy a lot of cute stuff instead of having to worry about my money. Even my boyfriend visited the con, excited as a little child. It's great I don't have to drag him around but that he's actually interested in all the stuff as well as I am.

Tampere Kuplii 2014. One of those silly days again. I was thinking all kinds of things that day, but I just want to say I love you guys and thank you for the company. I could spend every day like this one tbh.

Spontaneuous Frostbites

On Thursday I decided to go to Desucon Frostbite and on Friday I did. It was a first R-18 anime convention in Finland and, well, let's say it was a fine idea. My personal experience didn't differ much from other cons, it was lovely and crazy as always. The only con (note the pun) was that I sold approximately nothing on Artist valley. Whatever. The spirits were high and from what I've heard the programme was good. My part in it was to assist my friends as a cosplay slave, but that was an experience as well. The quality of cosplays was amazing in this convention, must say. And all my babies made me very proud. I'll make you proud one day as well, I hope. As I expected, the highlight of the weekend for me was Saturday night's party, if only had I seen Megumi Ogata's live full, boo. Still, it was amazing and the DJ's totally blew my mind, thank you. Not even sure who I'm thanking anymore.
+ Whoah to all the nightly ramblings on Lahti's fucked up streets and in our lovely cottage.

It was amazing. Still, just saying, the alcohol was too expensive for me
to want every Desucon to be rated M.

Yukicon

Mutta kyllä kannatti herätä aikaisin siihen auringonvaloon.

 

Sieltä tuli ja sinne meni vuoden ensimmäinen coni. Aluksi jännitti ihan hirveästi vaikken sitä kunnolla tiedostanutkaan, mutta kaikesta selvittiin kunnialla! Lauantaina tosiaan taidekujailin ja paricossina oli Sinin kanssa Morning Musumen Maji Desu Ka? Ska!, siitä lisää kuvia myöhemmin~ :3 Sunnuntaina kahdeltatoista olin jotenkin mystisesti päätynyt alakerran Peilisaliin, mikrofoni käteen, puhumaan lähes täydelle huoneelle aasialaisista idoleista. Iik! Loppujen lopuksi olin kuitenkin luentoon todella tyytyväinen, ja meitä tultiin pariin otteeseen kehumaan! Kiitos sinä söpö tyttö portaikossa! ;;A;; Tätä on varmasti tulossa lisää minun osaltani ja toivottavasti myös muut innostuisivat pitämään aiheesta ohjelmaa. Tällainen taka-ajatus itsellä vähän oli
luentoa tehdessä. Tanssiohjelmaa sentään löytyi, kiitos ihanat .ZERO ja Bluff ♥

Itseäni vähän harmittaa, en nyt tiedä harmittaako mutta kuitenkin, että conissa mahtavilta näyttäneet kuvat eivät näytäkään enää niin mahtavilta. No, parempi objektiivi sitten joskus? Lisäksi söin aivan liian vähän. Yhden lämpimän ruuan conin aikana, hups. Tapahtuma oli kuitenkin hassunhauska ja onnistunut ja seura oli mahtavaa! Ostoksina mukaan tarttuivat söpöäkin söpömmät kännykkäkuoret ja Trinity Blood 14 & 15, vihdoin! ;;A;;

Täydet pisteet tiloista Yukille, oli ihanan valoisaa kaikkialla ja ainoa vähänkään ahdas paikka oli karaoke. Jopa taidekujalle oli varattu riittävästi tilaa, jee~ Conien kävijärajoituksista valittavat voisivat jo ymmärtää, että Suomessa ei paljoa paikkoja ole, varsinkaan talvisin, joihin useita tuhansia ihmsiä mahtuisi. Kulttuurikeskus sopisi kyllä mainiosti kesäkäyttöökin. Turvat tukkoon ja seuraava coni tähtäimeen.
